Harry Styles has yet again proved he’s the kind-hearted gentleman we had him down as.

The 20-year-old was put to the test by Matt Healy (son of Denise Welch and Tim Healy and lead singer of The 1975) on Nick Grimshaw’s Radio 1 breakfast show during the latest round of Call Or Delete.

The game sees celebs prank call their high-profile contacts live on air and when he was called up, Hazza didn’t disappoint.

After a quick apology for the early morning wake-up call, Matt said: ‘I was just wondering, this is going to sound ridiculous, but I’m trying to get in touch with Niall…

‘Basically I need £5k, I’m in Chalk Farm (north London) and I’m having an emergency… it’s actually quite a serious situation.

‘I’m in a phone booth and a bloke is pointing at a picture of [Take That’s] Mark Owen. It’s actually quite threatening.’

Taking the matter very seriously indeed, Harry replied: ‘OK, well, we’re in Bristol. But let me go and I’ll get my assistant to call you and she’ll sort it out.’

We can’t quite imagine Liam Payne, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan behaving in quite the same way. Can you?

The Voice’s Rachael O’Connor confesses ‘obsession’ with One Direction ‘bad boy’ Liam Payne

Exclusive: The Voice hopeful Rachael O’Connor wants to be a star to get close to her idols One Direction, she revealed.

But before the boys rush to get a restraining order against the 17-year-old, she has promised she is ‘no stalker’.

‘I am obsessed with 1D,’ said Rachael, of Derry in Northern Ireland.

So how will she react if she meets the boys?

‘I wouldn’t be like “I love you, marry me”,’ she said.

‘I’d act really cool and hopefully they’d want to be my friend.’

It seems she harbours hopes to be most friendly with Liam Payne, 20.

‘He’s become the bad boy. He’s just cool,’ she said.

Rachael’s ‘no wild child’, however. She played good-girl-gone-bad Sandy Olsson in a Grease stage show recently and admitted: ‘I couldn’t strut. It isn’t for me.’

Kian Egan has just gone and stuck the knife into One Direction – BIG time

Westlife star Kian Egan has sensationally stuck the knife into One Direction, claiming he thinks the boys are going to ‘throw it away’.

Irish Kian, 33, was one fifth of Westlife for 14 years so knows a thing or two about boybands – but that hasn’t stopped him coming across slightly bitter with his latest comments.

Perhaps trying to give them innocent advice, Kian aired his fears that the five lads – Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan – don’t know how lucky they are.

‘One Direction would be fools to throw it away, absolute fools – and I get the feeling they will,’ he admitted to The Sun.

And then comparing them to Westlife, he added: ‘I watch them and they don’t seem to have this bond as tight as we had in Westlife – especially as they’ve only been together three or four years.’

Rift rumours between the 1D lads, who formed on The X Factor in 2010, really stepped up a gear in February when they admitted they hadn’t seen each other for three months while taking a break from their tour.

But Kian says hopefully the time out will give them a fresh boost.

‘It’s human nature to take time off. They probably needed to do that,’ he added.

And warning them against allowing one member to get a little too cocky, he added: ‘As we always said in Westlife, there’s not one person in a band that’s bigger than the band.

‘Respect each other and understand that it’s a unit, it’s not a bunch of individuals wanting to do what they want to do.’

Devastating One Direction news: Harry Styles basically moving to the US

It looks as though Harry Styles will be spending even less time in the UK after he allegedly forked out £2.6 million on a Los Angeles mansion.

Following in the footsteps of bandmate Niall Horan, who added a luxury US pad to his property portfolio last year, 20-year-old Styles was keen to have a base in the States because he prefers the atmosphere over there – not because his rumoured love interest Kendall Jenner lives there.

A source said: ‘Harry’s only told a few people and not many people know the exact location of the pad, but it is fairly spectacular, with an outdoor pool, home entertainment room and gym.

‘Harry loves LA and feels really at home there. He also gets less hassled there because people are used to seeing A-listers all over the place,’ the insider continued.

‘England will always be home, but he will be spending a lot more time in Los Angeles and Hollywood now,’ the source added to The Mirror.

One Direction are back to work after a few months off as they get cracking on their fourth album before embarking on their stadium world tour next month.

Perrie Edwards is sucking up to One Direction fans after Jesy Nelson clocked up an army of haters with one throwaway comment about Zayn Malik obsessives.

Jesy burned some serious bridges when she slammed the ‘stupid little Zayn Malik fans’ who had been mocking Perrie’s pale skin.

But Perrie says it’s all been one ginormous misunderstanding and that her outspoken bandmate didn’t mean to offend the bazillions of 1D fans in their entirety.

Preaching the Girl Power line, she explained: ‘Basically, us four girls, we’re absolute best friends and we always have each other’s backs. If any of us feel like one of us is getting digged at or getting nasty comments, we will always stick up for each other.

‘She just meant that people hating who are Zayn fans are being stupid… she did not mean every single Zayn fan – that would be daft! It was basically a massive misunderstanding,’ she added to Sugarscape.

The 20-year-old has been permitted the use of Chelsea’s Cobham training base by Jose Mourinho, whose daughter is a massive One Direction fan, and Horan wasted no time making himself at home by taking part in a spot of training near John Terry and Fernando           Torres in full Blues kit.

Niall Horan bombarded with naked fan photos after phone number leaks

For the lucky ones out there in possession of Niall Horan’s number – don’t share it with ANYONE.

The One Direction star is said to be fuming after he was plagued with naked fan photos and nuisance calls after a rogue friend allegedly leaked his number.

The 20-year-old was forced to change numbers when his phone went off the hook after his digits were shared among Directioners.

A source said: ‘Niall didn’t see the funny side of it. He wasn’t even remotely curious about the pictures because so many of his fans are teenage girls.

‘It was a huge pain for him. He was forced to change his mobile number immediately.’

But for those of you thinking Niall could be after the title of 1D’s moody one, currently held by Liam Payne, you are mistaken.

 The insider continued: ‘It’s not that Niall doesn’t have a sense of humour but he’s sensitive too.’
